The purpose of the work: choice of methods of increasing the efficiency of gas flow energy application for the particles acceleration, heating, melting and vapourization and phase separation. The method used: information-and-analytical and theoretical with mathematical simulation methods known from literature and developed at ITM NASU and NSAU. The results obtained: mathematical models have been formulated software has been developed and preliminary results have been obtained for numerical simulation of hydrocarbon fuels kinetic combustion and turbulent flow in a two-phase jet issuing from the nozzle into a submerged space. Problematic questions of the two-phase flows calculation have been stated. The truth of numerical calculation results has been confirmed obtained with the aid of the developed at ITM software-and-methodic support (SMS) to the calculation of two-phase flows in gasdynamicpassages. The laboratory-scale plant has been developed and created inteded for conducting experimental investigation of the dry inertial phase separation of dust-laden gas flows. Preliminary experiments have been carried out on this plant. The analysis of physical processes in low-thrust engine (LTE) combustion chambers has been performed, the present software-and-methodic support has been improved by taking account of fuel valves dynamics. The methods of mathematical simulation of processes in LTE combustion chambers have been analyzed, computational models have been formulated under non-steady operating conditions of low-thrust engines.
