Work purpose - the manufacture technology improvement of low cement highalumina vibrated castable mixture and the research on the drying schedule of samples from the mixture as well as the production of trial lots. The investigations of the type influence and an introduction method of dispersing additions on properties of lowcement highalumina vibratory mixture of СВГНЦБВ brand were conducted. An efficiency of combined vibratory milling of ГК-2 dispersing aluminas was determined which ensures a uniform distribution of dispersing additions in a volume of castable mix. The possibility to decrease a certain part of imported natural raw materials in the composition of a lowcement highalumina castable mix and namely to reduce the content of dispersive additions of ADS-1 and ADW-1 by 30% when their introducing direcly in the mixer for the preparation of above mentioned mixture. Comparative research of properties changes and moisture separation when drying home made and imported lowcement castables mixes of the brands СВГНЦБВ "Ultracast", "Vesuvius" as well as the research of an influence of the cement phase composition and an amount of the fractions on the composition of lowcement vibratory mix of the brand СВГНЦБВ on the mixture separation process were carried out. Such data were ascertained: advisability of reducing the drying rate of castable mixes and the necessity of holding above the temperature of cement dehydration for the purpose of preventing spalling castable; advisability to use as hydraulic binder a calcium aluminate cement; the necessity to reduce the content of the fine fractions of corundum in finely milled component of castable mixes. The heating up schedule of linings to be produced from low cement castable mix of the brand СВГНЦБВ was defined more exactly. An application for a supposed invention was handed in. In OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy" trial lots of castable mix of the brand СВГНЦБВ were manufactured and were transfered to the possesion of ЗАО" ММЗ " ИСТИЛ (Ukraine)". The scientific work should be continued for the purpose of improving composition and manufacture technology of castable mix which ensures more higher penetrability and a lesser extent of the lining sintering.
