The work purpose - an improvement of the manufacture technology of alumosilicate castable mixtures of brand СШБЦ and СМКРБЦ. The research methods are physicochemical, physico-mechanical and thermomechanical. Laboratory-technological testings were carried out for the determination of an influence of a type of kaolin chamotte of different grain composition and of cement type on properties of alumosilicate castables mixes of brand СШБ and СМКРБ. An employment possibility during the manufacture of castable mixes of brands СШБ and СМКРБ of kaolin chamote ШКН-1, ШКН-2 and ШКВ-1; highalumina cement of the brand ВГЦШ-60, equally with a highalumina cement ВГЦ-73 as well as the possibility to decrease the binder content in the chamotte castable mix was ascertained. An improvement of substance and grain composition of castable mixes allowed to increase indices of their properties: for СШБ - AL2O3 content from 42% up to 44%; refractoriness from 1630oC up to1650oC; compression strength after firing was increased by 25%; for СМКРБ -the compression strength after firihg was increased by 20%. In OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named A.S.Berezhnoy" the trial lots of chamotte castable mix of the brand СШБ were produced which were delivered to different enterprises of the Ukraine.
