The purpose of the work - working throngh the technological parameters for the manufacture of corundum carrier of catalyst with a waterabsorbtion (without vacuum treatment) within the limits of 19-23% and the compression strength not lesser than 35 MPa. The research methods are chemical, petrographycal, electronmicroscopic and physicochemical. The research on the technology development of corundum carrier of catalyst using the drawing method from plastic mixes was carried out. The main technological parameters for the manufacture of corrundum carrier of catalyst are determined as well as the scientific documentation was developed and approved . As a result of carried out investigations the manufacture technology of catalyst carrier with content of AL2O3 -99,6 - 99,7 mas.%., bulk density 0,9 - 1,0 kg/dm3, cold crushing strength on the face - 35 -40 MPa, waterabsorption without vacuum treatment 19 - 21 % was developed. An application for the supposed invention is handed in. The trial lots of corundum carrier of catalyst in accordance with technical requirements of the customer were produced and delivered. The scientific work should be continuend for the purpose of impruving the manufacture technology of corundum carrier of catalyst, including an increase of the mix plasticity, further mechanization of the process and an introduction broadening.
