Study aim - estimation of thyroid irradiation impact in the critical age periods on quality of health and life expectancy. Study purposes - endocrine characterisation of the puberty period in teenagers irradiated in utero and in the age up to 3 years, of reproductive system and basic energy-providing metabolic processes. Methods of research - clinical, biochemical, instrumental, ultrasonography, rheography. Ovarian disorders were revealed in girls exposed to radiation in perinatal period. Harmonious puberty was marked in 68.9% of cases, retardation - in 2.9%, accele-ration - in 28.2%. High prevalence of uterine, ovarian and breast pathology was fixed along with menstrual cycle disorders in females exposed to radiation in ado-lescence. High prevalence of diseases related to neuro-endocrine dysadaptation syndrome was marked in thyro-id patients. Disorders characteristic for aging proces s were revealed i.e. cholesterol and beta-lipoproteides serum content elevation, myocardium dystrophy, microcirculation and mainstream vessels disorders.
