The photometry of Q2237+0305 GLS allowed to substantially extend the existing R lightcurves. Noticeable variations of the components colours are argued to take place in the system. The second set of observing campaign of Q0957+561 was fulfilled this year in the framework of the international "QuOC Round-the-Clock" monitoring campaign, launched with the aim to obtain more precise estimate of the Hubble constant. A rather low photometric activity was found to be inherent in the newly discovered double quasar SBS 1520+530. However, a decrease of the component B brightness was detected in 2001. The lensing galaxy was also discovered, for the first time in the R and I spectral bands. Speckle interferometric observations of close binary systems with the late-type components were carried out with the 6-meter BTA telescope. The estimates of position parameters for 111 binaries and 11 multiple systems were taken, as well as estimates of magnitudes differences for 93 binary and 9 multiple systems.
