The changes of heart rate variability and blood pressure parameters in responce to acute pharmacological tests were compared with effects of long -term treatment in heart failure and hypertention patient. It was found that acute pharmacological tests may be used for prognosis of treatment effects on heart rate variability and blood pressure parameters and of the treatment effectiveness as a whole.
