The aim of the work was to elucidate the modern views on solvation, association, complex formation processes, on acidity in non-aqueous and water-organic media including organized solutions. The methods of investigation are potentiometry, spectrophotometry, conductometry, electronic microscopy, rotational viscosimetry. The structural transitions in cetylpyridinium bromide solutions have been studied on additions of sodium p-nitrobenzoate, and salicylate, as well as of benzene and sodium bromide at different concentrations and components ratio. The protolytic equilibria of a sulfonephthalein dye bromotymol blue as well as of three indicators of betain type, so-called Reichardt's indicators, in O/W microemulsions stabilized by nonionic and cationic surfactants have been investigated. The kinetics of fluorescein diacetate hydrolysis in micellar media at the presence of butyrilcholinesterase have been studied. The comparison of thermodynamic characteristics of solvation of ferro- and ferricyanide ions, obtained from temperature dependence of standard potentials of oxidation-reduction ferro- and ferricyanide electrode and ferrocyanide-silver electrode in aqueous solutions and in a mixture of water with 1,4-dioxane (20 mass. % dioxane) at 278-333 K have been done. The solvent and cations nature influence on association of picrates have been studied. Temperature dependence (within 283-318 K) of stability constants of potassium with dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 ether in water-propanol-2 mixture have been investigated. Thermodynamic and correlation analysis of solvation effects on potassium complexes stability have been done. Dissociation constants of alpha-alanine carboxylic- and aminogroups in water-propanol-2 mixture have been obtained within temperature range 278-328 K. The thermodynamic functions of dissociation, the contributions of short- long-range interactions, the individual ionic contributions to Gibbs energy of dissociation have been calculated. Concentration dependence of activity coefficients of protonated and zwitterionic forms of glycine and alpha-alanine have been obtained. The results obtained can be recommended as reference data for application in physical chemistry of solutions, colloid chemistry, biochemistry, photo- and analytical chemistry as well as in lecture courses of physical and colloid chemistry.
