Object - recovery operation workers of 1986-1987, children and adult evacuees, children exposed in utero and those born to the exposed parents. The dynamics of tumor and nontumor pathologies, disability and mortality among those groups was determined over the period 1999-2001. The features specific to sex and age development were observed as well as factors causing disability or mortality among the affected persons. A significant rise was proved in some cancers among cohorts of recovery operation workers and evacuees as compared to the same age groups of the population of Ukraine.
