Purpose of the work: to work out new scientifically substantiated techniques for improving the efficacy of radiotherapy in cancer patients with its individualizing taking into account evaluation of molecular genetic and homeostatic characteristics of the organism with the use of directed induction of apoptosis and accompanying therapy. Methods and equipment: biochemical, morphological, clinical instrumental, radioimmune, immunoenzyme, statistical. Results: immunological, metabolic, hormonal and hematological disturbances were revealed in the dynamics of different methods of combined therapy. The influence of different regimens of irradiation on apoptosis was investigated with the use of radiomodifiers. Novelty: The obtained results will be the ground for development of scientifically substantiated methods of drug therapy for correction of metabolic, immune and hormonaldisorders and improvement of anti-tumor therapy efficacy with apoptosis induction. Efficacy: analysis of the influence of various methods of combined therapy on the parameters of main homeostatic systems was done. The protocols for radiotherapy with directed apoptosis induction was validated experimentally. Degree of introduction: 4 reports were made, 4 articles were published.
