Models which discribe nonlinear creep processes in the multicomponent media were analyzed. The creep process of metals and alloys under high temperatures have many general feature with the creep of polymeric materials described by equations of hereditary elasticity. Distinction is the metal creep deformation is irreversible and stress-strain rate relation is nonlinear. The models where creep is accomponied by creation of microcrack and microcavity on the bound of crystal grain were analyzed.
