Thermogasodynamic processes in a supersonic nozzle of the rocket engine under thrust–vector control by changing a gas flow from the combustion chamber and nozzle unit are considered. Results of analytical and experimental studies of mechanisms and parameters of working processes into the nozzle for nonsymmetric injection of gas, fluid and solid interceptors are generalized and analyzed systematically. Separate physical models and design procedures are pointed out; much attention is given to processes into the nozzle under injection of combustion products of main engine propellant components into his supersonic flow. Static, dynamic, energomass and operating performance obtained in the course of designing, working out and operating the controlled thrust – vector rocket engine are described for main types of systems for controlling the thrust – vector. Theory, methods for calculating, designing and working out the systems of thermogasodynamic controlling the thrust – vector of liquid/solid propellant rocket engines.
