The investigation on the manufacture improvement of microporons anorthite lightweight refractories with an apparent density from 0,8 up to 1,3 g/cm3 for the service temperature up to 1300oC was carried out. The technological parameters for the manufacture of anorthite lightweight materials of 2 brands with an apparent density 0,8 and 1,0 g/cm3 were worked through. Physico-mechanical and thermophysical characteristics of worked out lightweight materials of different apparent density were studied. It was shon that the thermal conductivity of woked out light weight refractories is by 2 - 3 times lower and the strength is 2 - 2,5 times more compared with industrial products ШЛ-1,0 and МКРЛ-0,8. The stability of lightwerght anarthite material was studied and the possibility to use it in CO atmosphere at 1250oC was ascertained. As a result of carried out research the technical instructions and the specifications were developed. Trial lots of lightweight product of brands МКРЛА-0,8 and МКРЛ-1,3 were produced and transferred to the possession of customers. The trend of subsequent research is the technology perfection with a production of trial lots, the broadening of employment locations and the study of service characteristics of woked out lightweight refractories.
