Research methods: sanitary examination, physical and chemical, statistic. Pollution levels with toxic THMs for chlorinated water of Ukraine have been determined. In location conditions (Kyiv as an example) and in the laboratory reaserch the peculiarities and appropriatenesses of the THMs forming in the chlorinated drinking water have been determined and the ways for decrease of their formation have been established.
