The stability levels of quality indices of concentrates were analysed as well as their conformity with the norm values. It is shown that the concentrates produced by the washeries do not consist of pure grades but of mixtures including coals of different grades requiring, spesial control. The works was assisted in equipping the works laboratory with petrographic, equipment, in its mastering and in training the laboratory personnel how to operate the equipment.
