The methods are intended to forecast long stability of artificial cavity located in rock masses. Actual geomechanical problems are determined on the basis of the analysis of modern coal industry condition and prospects of its development. The phisycal and mechanical characterisics of rock mass which are necessary for numerical modelling are determined. The base mathematical model of discrete masses in vector interpretation is developed and this fact is convenient for programming with the help of MatLab mathematical system. The algorithms for development of rock mass modeling program are written. The test task with discrete elements (spheres) cooperated between each other and between the walls with the help of normal pushing away is put.
