The work purpose - putting into producting of the manufacture technology of powders from stabilized ZrO2 of fraction 40-20 m with an addition of surface active substances (SAS) for the plasma spraying output of trial lots. The research methods and apparatus are chemical, petrographical,roentgenphase and in accordance with procedures for the flowability determination and the grain composition of powders. On the basis of the research conducted in 2002 in O.J.S.C"The Ukrainian research institute of rafractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the manufacturing technology of fused powders from stabilized zirconium dioxide of fraction 40-20 m with an addition of surface active substances (SAS) was put into production the flowability of which is by 5-10% higher compared with produced later powders. In accordance with technical instruction (ТИ 24-ИО-98-2003) trial lots of powders from stabilized zirconium dioxidewere produced which as to properties indices corresponded to the requirements ТУУ 322-7-00190503-146-98 of the brand ПЦПК-100, ПЦПК-63, ПЦПК-40 and ПЦПК 40-20. The work should be continued for the purpuse of broadening the production volume in the O.J.S.C"The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy" of fused powders from stabilized zirconium dioxide with improved indices of properties intended for the plasmaspraying of heatinsulating coating on metal parts of machines and mechanisms.
