The work purpose- perfection of the manufacturing technology of corundum castable of brands CКпл-50-94and СКпл-60-92 and alumosilicate castables of brands СШБ and СМКРБ. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographical, electronomicroscopic, physicomechanical and thermomechanscal. Comparative laboratorial-technological research methods for establishing an influence of corundum type and corundum chamotte type on properties of corundum and alumosilicate castable mixtures. The possibility is evidenced:- to use corundum O.J.S.C"Urginski abrasive works" to be delivered as finished fractions in the manufacturing of castable mixtures of СКпл-50-94 and СКпл-60-92 brands as well as alumosilicate castable mixes of СМКРБ and СМКБ brands; - to use ordinary corundum of O.J.S.C"Zaporozhabrasive" delivered as finished fractions in the manufacturing of corundum mix СКпл-50-94 as well as alumosilicate castable mixes of СМКРБ, СМКБ brands;-to produce castable mix of СКпл-50-94 brand with a lesser content of hydraulic hardening binder; -to use chamotte of ШК-42 brand to be delivered as finished fractions in the manufacturing of alumosilicate castable mixes; -to use mixes of highalumina and alumina cements taken in the ratio 1: 1 in the manufacturing of alumosilicate castable mixes. The composition of mullitecorundum castable mix containing kaoline chamotte of ШК-42 and corundum of different producers (O.J.S.C"UKRNIIO named after A.S.Berezhnoy" O.J.S.C"Urabworks",O.J.S.C"Zaporozhabrasive") was worked out,. An employment in a chemical composition of castable mixes materials to be delivered as finished fractions will make possible to decrease the price cost of finished products and to inrease the production productivity. In the O.J.S.C"UKRNIIO named after A.S.Berezhnoy " trial lots of castable mixes and products on their basis were produced which are turned over to the metallurgical and machine building works of Ukraine and neighbouirng countries.The work should be continued with a trend of putting into production and the use of castable mixes of developed compositions and their subsequent perfection.
