The work purpose - perfection of the manufacturing technology of dry corundum mix and outlet of trial lots. The research methods are chemical, petrographical, physicomechanical and thermomechanical. The research aimed at establishing influence type of electrofused corundum of different producers and influence type of finely milled alumina containing material on properties of dry corundum mix was carried out. It was shown that is possible to produce dry corundum mix using electrofused corundum of O.J.S.C"Urginski abrasive wokrs" which delivered as finished fractions as well as electrofused corundum of O.J.S.C"Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy" which allows to decrease the prime cost of finished products and to increase the manufacturing productivity. It was shown that it is possible to use as finely milled component of corundum mixture the mixture of alumina of ГК-2 brand and electrofused corundum of O.J.S.C "UKRNIIO named after A.S.Berezhnoy" taken in the ratio 1:1. In the O.J.S.C"UKRNIIO named A.S.Berezhnoy" trial lots of dry corundum mixture for the lining of induction furnaces crucibles were produced. The work should be continued for the purpose of subsequent perfection and an increase of manufacturing volumes of dry corundum mixture with an expansion of a circle of potential customers.
