The work purpose - the technology perfection of anorthite lightweight products and outlet of trial lots. The research methods - chemical, petrographical, physicomechanical, roentgenphase, thermogravimetric, thermophysical,electronmicroscopic. The research on additional improvement of the manufacturing technology of anorthite lightweight products with different apparent density was carried. It is shown that an introduction of alumina addition in amount 60% allows to produce lightweight material with apporent density 1,1 g/sm3, strength up to 12 MPa and a service temperature 1450o C. An influence of amount of poreforming additions and the firing reject of anorthite on properties of samples was studied. It was shown that it is optimal to introduce in the blend polystyren of a fraction lesser than 0,5 mm. An addition of 0,3 % of fomning agent"Komfort" made possible to produce anorthite lighweight material with an apparent density 0,5 g/sm3, compression strength 2,4 MPa and thermal conductivity 0,18 W.mk at average temperature 650o C. It is rossible to replace competely a chamotte for anorthite crumb. The composition of castable mix with an apparent density 1,3 g/sm3 and a compression strength 4,0 MPa was developed. The shaping processes of a microstructure, the size and pores distribution according to sizes in anorthite lightweight material of different apparent density are studied. Physicomechanical properties of anorthite lightweight material and the thermal conductivity of lightweight materials depending on an apparent density and pores sixe were studied. Trial lots of anorhite lightweight material АЛ-0,8 for O.J.S.C"Technology" were produced. The work should be continued for the puprose of working out technological process parameters for the manufacture of anorthite lightweight material with poreforming additions with apparent density 0,5-0,6 g/sm3 as well as the development of heatinsulating castablesusing porous aggregates and broadening application sites.
