The research methods are chemical, petrographical, roentgenphase, physicomechanical, thermophysical.The research on finalizing of ГАКЛ technology was carrie. An influence of additions regulating setting termis was researched and optimal -ЛСТ in amount of 0,05-0,10% was chosen. It is shown that the use of alumina of ГК brand and the firing at 1650o C makes possible to produce calcium hexaaluminate lightweight material with apparent density 0,9-1,0 g/sm3 and compression strength 2-2,5 MPa. The research of porous structure of ГАКЛ samples by means of a mercury porosimetry was carried out. The thermal conductivity of lightweight materials of calcium hexaluminate composition with differnt apparent densities and pores sizes was determined. Specifications ТУУ14-7-189-2000 were considered. The research on the improvement of thermal conductivity of lightweight materials of КЛ-1,3 and МКРЛ-0,8 was carried out. In addition 2 brands of lightweight materials КЛ-1,1 and МКРЛ-1,3 were introduced in thr specification. A duration of the specification was prolonged up to 2005. The work should be continued for the purpose of finishing a technological process parameters of manufacturing process of calcium hexaluminate lightweight materials with pore forming additions with apparent density 0,9-1,0g/cm3 as well a development of heatinsulating castables using a breakage ГАКЛ as an aggregate and broadening application sites.
