The work purpose - putting into production of the manufacturing technology of new standard sizes of highalumina kiln furniture and lining elements of heating furnaces. The research methods are chemical, physicomechanical, petrographical. The research on accurate definition ofan influence method of the manufacture and open porosity of mullitecorundum samples on their thermal stability was carried. Vibrocast samples as well as pressed samples at an open porosity from 20 up to 28% have a thermal shock resistance more than 20 water heat cycles. As to the thermal shock resistanel samples are more preferable: the first crack appears later compared with pressed samples. It was shown that vibratory cast samples at an equal open porosity compared with pressed samples have lesser shrinkage during the firing and more higher softening temperature under load 0,2 and 0,5 N/mm2. The manufacturing technology of products of new configurations by means of the vibratory casting was put into production: 2 standard sizes of mullitecorundum bottom plates and 2 standard sizes of chamotte thinwalled largesized products for the aluminium melting furnace. Trial lots of refractories were produced: mullitecorumdum loading plates, bottom plates and ducts as well as elements of reheating furnaces linings: mullitecorundum rails for electrical furnaces, supporting beams for the wire golvanizing furnaces, chamotte products of intricately shaped configurations for induction furnaces for aluminium melting. The work shold be continued for the purpose of putting into production of new standard sizes of refractory kiln furniture and lining elements of furniture and lining elements of heating furnaces.
