Objectives of investigation - to study cancer incidence in female rural population of Ukraine and to develop the measures of improving the medical oncological care for this group of patients. Method of examination - medical statistics, descriptive epidemiology, system analysis. The collection of statistic data on cancer incidence in female rural Ukrainian population during 1998-2002 and the retrospective data during 1969-1972 has been done. Based on this data the analysis of dynamics and structure of cancer incidence in female rural population of Ukraine has been conducted. Crude, age-standardised and age-specific rates by 25 sites of malignant neoplasm have been calculated.
