The methods of the investigation: questionnaire and somatology were used for the determination of the anthropometrical parameters; the determination of somatotypes; the authenticity of the results was estimated by the statistical method; the age changes of the children's equalization of different characteristics with the body's structure of young people aged 17-21 and that's all gave the possibility to find out isomorphy or geteromorphy; correlative analysis helped to define the strength and the direction of links between the characteristics 1440 children aged 1-7 and 400 young men aged 17-21 took part in anthropometrical investigation. The formation of a somatic structure and age progress of Podil's region children was investigated according to the enlarged anthropometrical programe (54 characteristics) at the first time. The degrees of somatic maturity were defined on the basis of sizes of certain part's of the body and mass's of body component composition in their comparison with the definitive parameters of young people. The regularities of the development's growing Processes of the compound parts of the body and the whole body with the children aged 1-7 are defined in this work. The results of the work can be used in the educational process of the medical establishments (the departments of man's hygiene and anatomy) and in the medical and health-improvement establishments as the main standard indices of the man's physical development.
