The object of research is the impact of social-economic factors upon the formation of the system of managing quality of agroindustrial production. The aim of the research is the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the system of managing quality of agroindustrial production from the social-economic point of view. The theoretical and methodological basis of scientific-research work: dialectic method of knowledge and system approach towards studying economic processes, legislative and standard acts of authorities of Ukraine related to the problems of agroindustrial complex development, papers of national and foreign scientists related to the problems of ensuring quality of agroindustrial production and forming the social-economic conditions of creating corresponding managing system at all the taxonomic levels. During the research work the following methods of economic researches were applied: system-structural method, abstractedly logical method, comparative method, balance method. The results of this scientific-research work: determining the social factors of greening agroindustrial production; working out the methodic basis and realization of the practical calculation of damage due to reducing the level of population health connected with environmental pollution and pollution of internal medium of a man; detachment of the basic methods of managing quality of agroindustrial production (namely: the wide use of the potential of the general economic methods and economic-legal responsibility in sphere of managing quality of agroindustrial production). The results of the research constitute scientific novelty, because the theoretical basis of and methodological principles of managing quality of agroindustrial production were grounded starting from the priority of population health and not that of receiving the economic profit in short-term period. The authors of this report have worked out the recommendations concerning improvementof present system of production management in the line of ensuring the quality of agroindustrial production taking into consideration its ecological component.
