Negative consequences of waste water (spent solutions) supply to coal blend or coke quenching were studied. Possible ways of using effluent water from sulphur removal shop are described and appoximate volume of its use in the paper, glass, and building industries is shown. Several versions of preparing waste water (spent solutions) were considered, viz, romoval of hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide. Process flowsheets and parameters are presented.
