It was established that the most active system is Co/ZSM-5; the optimum content of Co is 1.2%. The catalytic activity of Co-containing systems was shown to depend on the content and the definite ratio of metal ions in the different coordination states (Co2+Td, Co2+Oh and Co3+Oh).It is shown that the oxidation of AC with H2O2 (15%) leads to the formation phenol surface groups, the total amount of oxygen functional groups increase in 1,5-2,5 times. Kinetic parameters of reactions of CH4 and H2 oxidation on the materials modified by Pt and Pd are established. It is shown, that the order of reactions on СН4 and Н2 is equal 1, and on О2 - to zero.
