The aim of the work is the creation of new alloying principles of high-chromium ferrite (HCF) to completely remove the polimorphic transformation in it and to obtain the steels with purely ferritic structure, high weldability and other necessary properties. Methods of investigation which have been used: optical metallography, X-rays structure analysis, dilatometeric researches, mechanical tests. Results of the work: the peculiarity of solution character of interstitial elements in the high-chromium ferrite in the temperature range (650-1300 °C) have been established; the quantitative estimation of grain-boundary segregation enrichment by interstitial atoms cerium, carbon and nitrogen have been done; the optimal alloying levels (by aluminum and silicon) of corrosion-resistant steel on the base of 20 % Cr with homogeneous ferritic structure have been established.
