Errors occurred on each step of the expansion are analyzed. The size dependences of density of states and of the work function are calculated by exact formulae. It is concluded that the work function of low-dimensional metal structures is less one of a half-infinite metal. A model differed from the classical Rayleigh theory for the Coulomb instability of charged metal clusters has been described. Two-component model of metallic droplet in the quasiclassic approach gives the different critical charges in the dependence from sign. For smallest cluster the quantization of electronic energy spectra requires the taking into account. It is performed for cube shape of cluster.
