The work purpose- putting into production a manufacturing technology of dry mixture of a trough mix of corundum siliconcarbide composition and outlet of trial lots.The research methods are physico mechanical and chemical. In a previons research work a home made thixotropic refractory mix of corundumsilicon carbide was worked out which is prepared on the basis of a natural raw material of Ukraine with a partial use of imported fine dispersive alumina materials with properties indices on the level of best foreign analogue- mix of "Vesuvius KSR" company. In this given work on premises of pilot scale production the manufacturing technology was put into production and a trial lot of corundumsiliconcarbide mixture for thixotropic trough mix and was delivered to a customer for industrial testings. Properties indices of the mixture of trial lot: mass share,%: Al2O3-77,4; SiC-12,5;CaO-0,9. Compression strength of samples of thixotropic mix prepared from a mixture of trial lot after firing at temperature 1500o C - 40,7 n/mm2. Laboratorial testings in liquid products of blast furnaces of thixotropic trough mix samples of trial lot were carried out. It was shown that this mix endured successfully an action of a liquid corundum and slag. The wash out rate of samples with iron did not exceed 0,02 g/cm2/how. Properties indices of a mix samples in a liquid did not change practically. The slag penetration into a refractory was not observed. The wash-out research of thixotropic trough mix was conducted. It was shown that a good wash-out (90-124%) of a mix was maintained within 2-3 hours. Such tenacity is quite sufficient to accomplish a lining of runners in industrial conditions. The work should be continued for the purpose of industrial testing in the service of trial lot developed by institute of homemade thixotropic trough mix of corundum silicon carbide composition and its introduction for an employment for the lining of runners of blast furnaces of metallurgical works of Ukraine.
