It was established that an introduction of a given material on an amouent of 10% leads to the decrease of the main indices of properties of silicon carbide products of KKA brand. Trial lots of products from silicon carbide on alumosilicate binder using a marketable silicon carbide were produeced. Products have such properties:porosity - 18-19%, compression streng - 80 - 90MPa,content of SiC - 82%,Al2O3 - 1,85%. The work should be continued for the purpose of using regenerated silicon carbide produced from certain brands for abrosive wheels as well as working out a manufacture technology of vibratory casting of intricately shaped silicon carbide products on alumosilicate binder.
