Research purpose - providing control of chemical composition of produced trial lots of above mentioned refractories. Research methods are coulonmetric and photometric. The followring apparatus was used during the implementation of measurements: express analyze for carbon and photoelectrical colorimeter КФК-2. As a result of carried out work "The procedure of measurements carrying out of a mass share of silicon carbide in corundum silicon carbide products and mixes" and "The procedure of measurements carrying out of a mass share of silicon oxide (IV) using amullitecorundum mix in the presence phosphor. Developed procedures allowed to expand the determination range of a mass share of silicon carbide in corundum siliconcarbide products and mixture using a coulonmetric methods by an interval of 10-30% and to reduce the determination term of a mass share of silicon oxide in a mullitecorundum mix from day susing gravimetric method up to 5-7 hours by means of photometric method.The procedures are introduced in ТУУ 26.2-00190503-119-2002 and ТУУ 322-7-00190503-147-98.The work should be continued for the purpose of subsequent ensuring the fulfilment of measurements of new kinds of production to be developed in O.J.S.C.
