Work purpose - the development and assertion of specifications and alterations for specifications.As result of carried out research the study of the world level of standardization in the field of refractories was carried out as well as 19 specifications and 28 alterations in addition to valial specifications for traditionally manufactured production by refractory work and for trial lots of refractories which are produced by the institute was carried out. The works were carried out on the forming of funds of normative documentation of institute for 5 refractory and 6 metallurgical works of Ukraine, as well as repeated accreditation of the testing centre of institute was accomplished; certification testings of the powder of milled clay of O.J.S.C."Zaporozhogneupor" and examination of 12 interstate standards developed by works of Russia were realized as well. The result of carried out work is an improvement of the level of technical specifications for refractory production for the purpose of subsequent investigation. The works should be continued on the study and analysis of the quality world level of refractories for the purpose of revealing best would analogues, working out technical specification for refractory production, fonds forming of normative documentation of institute, refractory and metallurgical works of Ukraine.
