Stucki elements and ITM-73 non-linear wheel profile" and "Rules on technology of the retrofit units installation to conventional freight car trucks" were developed. On the basis of theoretical calculations the recommendations on the temporary exchange, if necessary, of retrofit unit elements and wheelsets with non- linear profile by produced domestically conventional elements to ensure car service till the depot repairing are given. Theoretiсal investigations to estimate the influence of various models slipper parameters, produced accor- ding to A. Stucki company technology, on the stability, dynamic characte- ristics and wheel wear of various types freight cars, which are in service in domestic railways, are carried out. Recommendations on the advisabili- ty of specified slipper models use for the considered freight car types are proposed The rules to prepare car-exerts on retrofit trucks exploitation and maintenance are developed. Investigations are fulfilled and recommendations on the improvement of technology of 18-100 bogie retrofit unit isnstallation are given to improve retrofit quality and elastomer elements resource incre- ase. Videos demonstrating retrofitted freight cars advantages in service and allowing improvement of car-experts preparation on the freight car trucks retrofit are created.
