The purpose of the work are the allocation of the basic types of gold metallization and finding - out of conditions of their localization. Method of investigation is metallogenic analysis. Gold metallization in geotectonic structures of Ukraine has very large formation variety. In this connection every formation type of a metallization requires the development of quite definite personal prognosis-prospecting criteria. However the process of prediction is rather differentiate not only for gold metallization of different types, but also for different grade objects of appearance of gold mineralization. Each of appearance requires the engaging of a quite definite set of prognosis-prospecting procedures. The principles and general scheme of an endogenic metallization prediction are considered. Gold metallization on the ancient Ukrainian crystalline shield essentially differs from metallization of fanerozoic geosynclines-plaited systems (Carpathians, Crimea, Donbass). Here the basic gold boarding structures are pre-Cambrian greenstone trogs and granite-gneisis cupolas. The age evolutionary series of gold metallization appearances in greenstone structures having many of general features with evgeosyncline metallization and connected with them of continental volcanic belts is reviewed.
