Effect of prior adaptation to copper sulfate on DNA and RNA synthesis rates and lipid accumulation in microsomal fraktion, cytosol and lipid aggregation of cytosol of liver celf after the following influence of partical htpatektomy (PHE) was studied in young and old animals. We demonstrate that the prior adaptation to copper sulfate had different effect on PHE-induced RNA and DNA ayntheses in young and old animals. The effect depended on the time passed after the last injection of copper sulfate. Also, the effect of the prior adaption on lipid accumulation in cytosol and lipid aggregations of cytosol in young and old animals differed significantly. The overall response was found to the atypicfl from several points of view, e.g. unusual ratio between DNA and RNA synthesis rates , significant inhibition of adaptive response development are liscussed.
