Research goal: determination of physical regularities of forming of spatial-time, frequency, energy and polarisation characteristics of electromagnetic fields (including nonstationary ones) with the regular and irregular non-uniformities of waveguiding structures and creating on the base of strict methods of solving the boundary electrodynamics problems, the mathematical models, algorithms and software for calculation their diffraction characteristics. Research techniques: theory, computer analysis, experiments. The energy and directional characteristics of the single and group neighbouring longitudinal and transverse slots cut in the wide wall of the single-mode and multimode waveguides was studied with the induced MMF. The problem of electrodynamics volume copling through the system of the longitudinal slots in the wide waveguide wall. The calculation technique of interior mutual admittance of the group radiator consisting inclined slots in the narrow waveguide wall. The energy and directional characteristics of multislot antennas containing neighbouring transvers slots in the waveguide wall in the cases both the equidistant and non-equidstant systems were studied. The influence of the resonator excitation conditions with the transverse coupling slot on the amplitude-and-phase distribution of the waveduide - resonator-slot array was investigated. In strict formulation the problem of excitation of the inifinite circular cylinder with longitudinal slots by the plane electromagnetic wave. The energy and directional characteristics of the two-frequency and multislot antennas on the multimode waveguide wuth account interaction between slots of different bands were studied. The problem of transformation of nonstationary T-wave on the coaxial waveguide aperture into reflected waveguide waves and radiated waves was solved by the mode base method and partial region technigue in three-dimensional case and time domain. The influence of the problem geometry and exiting impulse signal on the efficiency on the radiation was investigated. On the base of L.A.Vainstein's method the analysis in detail of characteristics of waves which were diffracted on the open end of circular wave guide exited by E01 - and H01 - modes was carried out.
