Based on comparating analysis of real characteristics of this plant and similar plants of other operations several modernazation were proposed stabilize operating conditions. A new scrubber as proposed having a regular sheet packing and plate distribution of wash solution which can provide necessary stabilization and form an integral part of more thorongh removal of hydrogen sulphide from coke oven gas (0,5 g/m3).
