The research focuses on the possibility of replacing ordinary plate feeders by new devices with less metal and power consumption. The advantages and disadvantages of the feeders designed for Ingulets ore-dressing combine have been analysed. Dynamic loading on the elements of the re-charging terminals operating on the basis of plate feeder has been measured. The shape of the vibrofeeder chute has been designed with a regard to the raw material to be transported as well as the slightest changes in metalwork feeder. The geometric, kinematic, dynamic parameters of the feeder and electric engine power required for providing the adjusted output have been determined in the research.
