Work purpose - research on the manufacture calcium silicate lightweight materials. Research methods - chemical, petrographical, roentgenfhase and thermophysical. Research investigation on the manufacture of calcium silicate lightweight materials with apparent density up to 1,3 g/cm3 for the service temperature up to 1200o C were carried. As a result of this work the main technological parameters for the manufacture of calcium silicate samples were determined. Lightweight samples with apparent density - 0,96 - 1,2 g/cm3 , compression strength - 5,8 - 12,9 MPa, thermal conductivity -0,286 Wt/m.k at average temperature 650-+25o C for the service temperature 1200o C were determined. From a view of point of the mineralogy the material of lightweight samples is represented mainly as wollastonite (up to 90%).
