The purpose of work: research stress loading working body of the dredge which is not providing necessary reliability of work of a dredge. Since 1995 six large failures took place: four times collapsed bearings of a shaft of the rotor, two times the shaft of a rotor collapsed. From the beginning of 2003 and up to the middle of 2004 the dredge stood idle because of breakage of a shaft of a rotor and necessity of replacement приводных reducers. Natural research tests stress loading working body reveal the reasons of low reliability of working body. They consist: in low rigidity shovel boom a rotor torsional, having a flat design; the design features of working body supposing higher stressloading by static and operational loadings of the left bearing of a shaft of a rotor; in the settled way of working off mining face horizontal shavings, stimulate formation torsional oscillatory loadings in shovel boom a rotor of higher level; in an irrational design of ladles, intermediate belts and connecting drafts, stimulate high levels of dynamism of working process and spillage on the bottom of the face.
