Research methods - chemical, petrographical, roentgenphase analyseses of initial materials and refractories on their basis. As a result of carried out comparative research of an influence of a kind and amount of a technological binder (polyvinyl glycerol binder and acqueous solution of ЛСТ) and of a grainy texture of zircon on the properties main indices of laboratorial and natural samples of products from fused monoclinic zirconium dioxide it was ascertained that as a silicabearing additive a zircon of a natural graing texture should be used and during a shaping of largesized product - polyvinylglycerol binder while during a shaping a small scale product - acqueous soluttion of ЛСТ (lignosulphonate technical with a density 1,15 - 1,17 g/cm3). Taking into account obtained resultsof research natural samples of products as sectors and plates characterized by share: ZrO2+HfO2 -93,2%; Al2O3 - 2,94%; SiO2 - 3,15%; open porosity - 16,8 -17,0 %; compression strength -120 - 130 MPa were produced. In O.J.S.C."Ukrniio named after A.S.Berezhnoy" in corespondence with a purchaser demands a trial lot of products as sector (sizes R- 200+4 mm, H - 60+2mm) from fused monoclinic ZrO2 was produced .Manufactured products were characterized by following indices of properties: mass share:ZrO2+HfO2 - 94,2%; Al2O3 - 1,95%; SiO2 - 3,18%; open porosity - 21,6 - 22,6%.
