Laboratorial investigation on perfecting the manufacture technology of corundum silicacalcium pouring in ladles by means of vibrocasting. An influence of additives of finely dispersive materials on the strength indices of castable to be produced from corundum siliconcarbide mixes by means of vibrocasting. It was ascertained that the use in blends compositions of 10% reactive alumina CTC 40 and 5% of vibromilled silicon carbide increases the strength properties of eastable. It was established that an employment of diluting additives (tripolyphoshate natrium, dispersive aluminas ADS/ADW) leads to an aquivalent increase of the compression strength both in the green body and after firing. Optimum composition of a castablemix for the manufacture of corundum silicon carbide castable was determined and a trial sample of a castable was produced. Its properties were ascertained. Results of comparative electron - microscopic research after firing of a brick of MKB-72 brand and of worked - out by institute lowcement castable on the basis of KKKБC mix were presented. Destructive mechanism of the ladle lining was ascertained. In accordance with normative documentation in conditions of pilot-scale production of O.J.S.C. "Ukrniio named after A.S.Berezhnoy" trial lots of corundum siliconcarbide mix of KKKБC brand were produced and delivered to a customer. The work should be continued for the purpose of redetermining a material composition and testing of corundum silicon carbide castable of optimum composition in calciasilicon pouring in ladles at O.J.S.C.
