Objective: to study the effects of ionizing radiation and substances containing antioxidants upon the state of the higher nervous activity of experimental animals for substantiation of the antioxidant complex composition, which diminish disturbances caused by exposure. Obtained behavioral, biochemical, and hematological indices showed that usage of blueberries before and after exposure of the animals causes correction of the unfavorable changes of the higher nervous activity caused by the exposure (0.5 Gy). The results of the carried out studies substantiate blueberries inclusion into the phyto composition designed to diminish disturbances of the central nervous activity caused by exposure to ionizing radiation.
