The purpose: Valuation of an existing system of medical protection of the population and activity of establishments on rendering specialized medical aid. Methods: statistical, expert valuations, statistical, office - software. Results: The information on the legislative and standard-lawful acts data bases on medical and social protection of Chernobyl accident survivors has been collected and analyzed. By results of the analysis of a condition of the standards of normative database development for specialized medical aid the complexity in research of this question in conditions of economical crisis of society, reformation of medical service and dynamic changes in a structure epidemiologic and demographic parameters is revealed. A structure and organizational bases of an existing system of medical protection of the population, condition and problems of activity of a general network for maintenance of specialized medical aid and statistical parameters concerning providing medical aid for population of Ovruch region of Zhitomir oblast and Makarovsky region of Kiev oblast were investigated. It was shown, that for providing of competent medical aid and targeting use of a means it is necessary to define interregional (within local oblast level) or interregional (between different oblasts level) specialized medical establishments for coordination of work and constant specialized medical aid rendering to the population, effected with Chernobyl accident.
