The subjucts of the investigation were organisations of Ukraine that are carrying out dosimetric (including IDM) and radiation-hygienic monitoring of the personnel and inhabitants. The main goal of 2004 year work is to study the status of dosimetric monitoring in Ukraine, its capacity and quality, material and technical, methodical and informational maintenance. Methods of the investigation: statistical, dosimetrical, analytical. Forty nine organisations carrying out dosimetrical monitoring were polled. Mainly (with one exclusion) services of territorial sanitary epidemiological supervision are equipped with physically and morally outdated devices. Its year of production lies in range from 1971 to 1992. Equipment of IDM of Nuclear Power Plants is much better in numerical sense and can provide full individual monitoring of personnel. At the same time all the dosimetric system (with the exclusion of Chernobyl NPP) are not satisfy to the present-date requirements regarding quality and nomenclature of dosimetric measurements.
