Karazin popup.description2 The subjects of inquiry are elements and SHF and millimeter wave band devices, theoretical and experimental investigations of their characteristics. The goal of investigation consists in construction of a theory of transmission lines with multiconnection cross section and functional elements based on multiconnection multimode structures. The series of electrodynamic problems were formulated and solved. The solutions of these problems allowed to construct the theory of radiating systems, to develop the theory of ray methods of diffraction. The developed mathematical apparatus correctly reflects the real physical models. The analytical-numerical method of fields finding with the help of uniform asymptotical theory was built. The possibility of construction of effective algorithms for determination of fields near edge was shown. The influence of surface wave on determination of scattering fields is established. The spectral distributions of fields are examined. The problem of eigenmode propagation in thin dielectric waveguide was investigated. Te possibility of transformation from system of integral equation to system of linear algebraic equitations was made with the held of cylindrical functions. The series of physical experiments were held with the held of the modern measuring techniques based on automatic measuring platform in comparing with modern computer methods of processing information.
