Karazin popup.description2 Research subject: electromagnetic fields and wave processes in the whole of observation space of basis types of microwave radiators. Research goal: creation of high accurate mathematical models of following radiators: open ends of rectangular or circular waveguides, vibrators (in the presence of screens), slots, vibrator-and-slots, horns, scanning and multi-beam reflector antennas. Research techniques: theory, computer analysis. By the strict self-entailed formulation the problem of diffraction of electromagnetic fields with the narrow rectilinear slot cut in the butt end of a rectangular waveguide have been solved. The integral equation for determining fields in the rectangular waveguide or pyramidal horn apertures have been obtained and physical regularities was studied. On the base of Fourier fransformation of finite limits the algorithms and optimization program packages have been elaborated under contracdicted condition of ensuring the minimum of pattern width and minimum of side lobe levels. Themathematical model of antenna arrays and the optimization method of ones have been elaborated. They can be used for antenna system of the arbitrary geometry with account of array element patterns, phase patterns etc. By the uniform geometrical diffraction theory method the algorithms and computer programs of calculation of the directivity coefficient and radiation resistance in the arbitrary direction for radiating system dipole - sereen under condition of arbitrary situating one and another have been worked out. The influence of dipole orientation relatively sereen on the pattern form and regularities of forming the field with given polarization was determinid. On the base of the mathematical model worked out the optimization reqularities of polarization characteristics of waveguide - slot and vibrator radiators have been fixed. The mathematical model of scanning multibeam mirror antenna which has high-accurate mathematical model of the irradiator and optimization method of its have been worked out. SRW results may be recommended for use in scientific-and-industrial organizations and Institute for Scientific Researches of National Academy of Science of Ukraine for developing and designing antennas of radio-electronic system of different intending.
