Karazin popup.description2 An object of researches is the parameters of ionospheric plasma and near-earth space under quiet conditions and during perturbations of a solar origin. The work aim is on the basis of analysis of experimental data to reveal steadiest and characteristic variations in ionospheric parameters during solar perturbations and estimate possible consequences of these perturbations affecting the human health. The main results. 1. The results of researches by a method of partial reflections (PR) of electron density variations are presented for the midlatitude ionospheric D-region at the beginning and recovery phase of magnetic storms, including storms after a unique phenomenon - the polar aurora in the middle latitudes. The quasiperiodic increase in the ionospheric D-region electron density by 50 - 100 % for tens of minutes with period T ~ 30-60 minutes is established. The guantitative evaluations of ionization velocity variation are made. Using the experimental data, calculations of power performances of chargedpartiсle flows are carried out during the events considered. Typical variations in characteristics of PR signals and parameters of the D-region after X-ray and optical solar flares are also established. 2. On the basis of the combined experiment, a possibility of constructing space - time maps of variations in the total electron content (TEC) of the ionosphere using records of Doppler frequency shift from the navigation satellites and the Kharkiv scatter radar data is considered. It is shown that the used data allow to determine diurnal variations TEC in the latitude range of ~ 40 - 60 N. It is shown that the modern global ionospheric models do not reflect features of the space - time variations in the TEC in our region and systematically overestimate TEC values by 20-80 %. 3. The space weather changes are accompanied by a noticeable (~ 15 %) increase in the patient number, thus the acute infarct number can be increased almost twice. Maximum increases in the patient number take place for solar-caused events which are accompanied by quasiperiodic variations in intensity of atmospheric pressure fluctuations (variations in infrasound intensity). It is also now impossible to eliminate a role of other factors, first of all, geomagnetic micropulsations. The results of the work can be used for developing a regional ionospheric model, for investigating atmosphere-ionosphere interactions, warning of the unfavorable influence of an environment on the human, they will be also used at the following stages of the work and in the educational process.
