Karazin popup.description2 Object of studies is single and multi layer thin metal films. The aim of the project is to investigate the general rules of phase transitions variation of single and multi- layer metal films versus their characteristic size and preparation conditions. The research methods. Films were obtained by means of vacuum condensation. The films structure was explored by high-energy electron diffraction and transmission electron microscopy methods. The melting-crystallization temperature hysteresis of Al-Bi binary film system was found by means of electrical resistance measurements for phase transition tem-perature registration. It was shown the reproducibility of supercooling under crystalli-zation value of Al/Bi/Al layered film system in consequent heating-cooling cycles. The main results are received for the first time.
